Generic Name:chlorpheniramine pyrilamine and Phenylephrin

Triplex AD are antihistamines which help in reducing the natural chemical histamine in the human body. Histamine produces symptoms of sneezing itching watery eyes and runny nose.

Phenylephrine is a decongestant which helps to shrink blood vessels in the nasal passages as the dilated blood vessels result in nasal congestion or stuffy nose.

Triplex AD helps to treat runny or stuffy nose sinus congestion watery eyes and other symptoms which are due to allergies or the common cold and flu.

How To use Triplex AD Syrup

Triplex AD may be used as follows:

  • Always take Triplex AD exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
  • Never use Triplex AD in large amounts or for longer than recommended.
  • Never give Triplex AD to a child as death can occur from the misuse of Triplex AD in very young children.
  • You should not crush chew or break the Triplex AD tablet.
  • Always swallow the pill whole.
  • Always make it a point to measure the liquid form of Triplex AD with a special dose-measuring spoon or cup and not a regular table spoon. If you do not have a dose-measuring device then get one.
  • Always shake the oral suspension liquid of Triplex AD well just before you measure a dose.

Cautions before Use Triplex AD Syrup

People with the following symptoms should not use Triplex AD:

  • Severe coronary artery disease
  • High blood pressure
  • Thyroid or
  • Diabetes
  • Asthma
  • Pneumonia

Triplex AD Syrup Interaction

When certain medications are taken together such as blood pressure medication and an antidepressant with Triplex AD drug interactions could occur that may affect the efficacy of the medicines resulting in serious side effects.
