Vio Tex-HC

Generic Name:Hydrocortisone and Clioquinol

Vio Tex-HC is a prescribed medication used to treat acne and pimples. This product is used to treat acne and oily skin. The product contains two ingredients, hydrocortisone and Clioquinol and has been named after these two ingredients of the product. Hydrocortisone is a corticosteroid that acts to decrease the skin swelling that can occur with acne. Clioquinol works by reducing the amount of acne-causing bacteria. It also helps to heal pimples by causing the skin to dry and peel. Vio Tex-HC comes in a form of a complete kit containing an antibacterial or a keratolytic agent and corticosteroid combination along with a cleanser. The effectiveness of Clioquinol appears to be because of its antibacterial, peeling keratolytic, and drying actions. The corticosteroid reduces inflammation of the skin.
