Trimpex

Generic Name:Trimethoprim

Trimpex is a type of antibiotic which is used to treat bacterial infections. Trimpex works by stopping the growth of bacteria.

Trimpex treats only bacterial infections. Trimpex will not work for viral infections.

If Trimpex is used or for that matter any antibiotic it can lead to its decreased effectiveness.

How to use Trimpex Tablets

Trimpex may be used as follows:

Trimpex should be taken by mouth on an empty stomach at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal as directed by your doctor. Trimpex may be taken with food if stomach upset occurs. The dosage of Trimpex is based on your medical condition and response to therapy.

The Antibiotics work best when the amount of medicine in your body is kept at a constant level. Therefore always take Trimpex at evenly spaced intervals.

Continue to take Trimpex until the full prescribed timeframe is finished, even if symptoms disappear after a few days.

Stopping Trimpex too early result in the bacteria grow, which may result in a relapse of the infection.
