How To use Triphasil Pills

  • You should take one pill every day, no more than 24 hours apart.
  • If your pills are running out immediately start a new pack as soon as possible as you are likely to get pregnant if you do not use Triphasil regularly.
  • You must remember to get your prescription refilled before you run out of pills completely.

Cautions before Use Triphasil Pills

People with the following symptoms should not use Triphasil:

  • Triphasil may not be able to protect you against sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), including HIV or AIDS.
  • Triphasil can cause life-threatening conditions such as heart attacks, strokes, and blood clots.
  • Triphasil is very effective for preventing pregnancy when taken correctly. However, it becomes much less effective if taken incorrectly.
  • Triphasil may slightly increase the risk of breast cancer or cervical cancer, although this is an unresolved issue.

  • Changes in your eyes that make it more difficult to wear contact lenses

  • Seizures or epilepsy
  • Irregular menstrual cycles

Triphasil Pills Interaction

When certain medications are taken together with Triphasil drug interactions could occur that may affect the efficacy of the medicines. Triphasil can interact with Aminoglutethimide, Antibiotics and Aprepitant resulting in serious side effects.

Overdose symptoms may include:
