The ingredient Castor oil helps to prevent skin cells from breaking down thereby aiding in wound healing.

The ingredient Trypsin helps to shed damaged skin cells.

Trypsin as a whole is used to treat bed sores and other skin ulcers.

It is also used to help promote healing and relieve pain caused by these conditions.

How to use Trypsin Tablets

Trypsin may be used as follows:

  • You should take Trypsin exactly as it was prescribed for you.
  • Never take amounts, or take it for longer than recommended by your doctor.
  • In order to attain the best treatment use all of your medications as directed by your doctor.
  • In order to use Trypsin always apply a thin layer of the medicine to the wound. This medicine can be applied twice daily. Follow your doctor’s instructions.
  • After you have applied the medicine remember to cover the wound with a bandage dressing, or leave the wound open to the air. You will be advised by your doctor whether you should cover the wound or not.
  • If there is an urgency to remove this medication, wash it off with water and mild soap.

The following precautions must be taken care of when using Trypsin

  • Remember to use this medicine exactly as it was prescribed for you.
  • Never use it in larger amounts or for longer than recommended by your doctor.
  • Other drugs can also affect Trypsin.
  • Never start using a new medication without telling your doctor.
  • Stop using this medicine immediately and get emergency medical help if you think you have used too much medicine.

Trypsin Tablets Side Effects

Stop using Trypsin and call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects:

  • Difficulty breathing
  • Swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat

Less serious side effects

  • Mild stinging or burning where the medicine is applied

Trypsin Tablets Interaction

When certain medications are taken together with Trypsin drug interactions could occur that may affect the efficacy of the medicines. It can even increase your risk for side effects. Trypsin can interact with other medicines such as vitamins, minerals, herbal products, and drugs prescribed by other doctors resulting in side effects or altered effectiveness of Trypsin.

An overdose of Trypsin is not expected to produce life-threatening symptoms.
