Generic Name:Ammonium Lactate and Urea

Utralytic is a prescribed medication used for skin problems. It is basically used in Treating dry, rough, scaly skin caused by certain conditions such as dermatitis, psoriasis, eczema, cracked skin, calluses. It may also be used for certain other skin or nail conditions as determined by your doctor. This medicine has the active ingredients of Urea and Ammonium Lactate and works by helping the breakdown of dead skin, which helps to loosen and shed hard and scaly skin. It also softens and moisturizes the skin. Ammonium Lactate acts as a moisturizer on the skin as Urea sheds all the dry skin makes it more clear and healthy. Utralytic is also used in for softening, smoothing and removing rough scaling hyperkeratotic skin in conditions such as xerosis, ichthyosis, skin cracks and fissures, dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, keratoses and calluses.

How to Use Utralytic Skin Cream

  • Utralytic topical cream is for external use only. Do not get it in your eyes, nose, mouth, or on your lips. If you get Utralytic in your eyes, rinse them right away with cool water.
  • Do not use more than the recommended dose or use for longer than prescribed without checking with your doctor.
  • Use this medicine on the affected area 1-3 times or as directed by your doctor. Rub the medicine in gently until it is completely absorbed on the affected area.

Cautions before Use Utralytic Skin Cream

  • Utralytic may cause you to become sunburned more easily. Avoid the sun, sunlamps, or tanning booths until you know how you react to Utralytic. Use a sunscreen or wear protective clothing if you must be outside for more than a short time.
  • Do not use this medication on the broken or severely irritated skin as it may cause adverse effects.
  • This medicine is considered as an unsafe medication to be used in pregnancy and breastfeeding phase.
  • If anyone is having any allergy with the active ingredients of the medicine then they should not use this medicine.

Utralytic Skin Cream Side Effects

The side effects which may arise due to the usage of Utralytic are as follows:

  • Stinging on the affected area
  • Burning sensation
  • Itching
  • Skin Irritation
  • Allergic Rashes

Interactions and Overdose of Utralytic Skin Cream

This medicine may react with any other skin creams and lotions so check all the medicines before using with Utralytic. Avoid using skin products that can cause irritation, such as harsh soaps or skin cleansers, or skin products with alcohol, spices, astringents, or lime.

This medicine could be harmful if swallowed, make sure to visit the doctor immediately in case of any adverse effects.
