Ditropan

Ditropan is used to treat painful urination, frequent urination, and other bladder problems caused by nerve problems. The drug comes in tablet and syrup form, and is typically taken two to four times a day. Most people tolerate Ditropan well, but side effects can still occur. Certain bladder conditions that are caused by nerve problems can be treated with Ditropan.

Uses of the medication specifically include the treatment of neurogenic bladder symptoms, such as painful urination, sudden or frequent urges to urinate, and leaking accidents. Ditropan can be used in children as young as five years old. At this time, there are no universally accepted with some other Ditropan uses. Ditropan is sold under the generic name of Oxybutynin.

How to Use Cialis Injection

  • The medication comes in tablet and syrup form. It is usually taken by mouth two to four times daily.
  • Ditropan syrup may be especially useful for children or adults who have difficulty swallowing tablets.
  • You can take Ditropan with or without food. If the drug bothers your stomach, try taking it with food.
  • Ditropan should be taken at the same times each day to maintain an even level in your blood.
  • For the medication to work properly, it must be taken as prescribed. Ditropan will not work if you stop taking it.

Cautions before use Cialis Injection

  • The medication can cause blurred vision, dizziness, and drowsiness. Make sure that you do not drive or work on heavy machinery after taking Ditropan.
  • People who have uncontrolled narrow-angle glaucoma should not take this medication.
  • Patients who have difficulty in passing urine known medically as urinary retention should not take this medicine.
  • People who have a condition that slows the emptying of food from your stomach medically known as delayed gastric emptying  or that severely slows the movement of food through your digestive tract should not take Ditropan into use.

The side effects which may arise due to the usage of Ditropan are as follows:

  • Abdominal pain
  • Headaches
  • Indigestion
  • Diarrhea
  • Blurred vision
  • Bladder infection
  • Weakness
  • Nasal dryness
  • Feelings of a rapidly or forcefully beating heart
  • Swelling or water retention in the calves, ankles, or feet
  • Insomnia
  • Nervousness
  • Dry skin
  • Dry eyes
  • Changes in taste

Cialis Injection Interactions and Overdose

When certain medications, such as pramlintide or protease inhibitors, are taken with Ditropan, drug interactions may occur. These interactions could reduce the effectiveness of both medications and increase your risk of developing side effects. Other medicines that may lead to Ditropan drug interactions include anticholinergic medications, acetyl cholinesterase inhibitor drugs, and certain antifungals or antibiotics.

The possible overdose effects are to experience restlessness, irritability, memory loss, or hallucinations. Overdose treatment options may include certain medications under strict medical supportive care.
